At Commly, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all users. Protecting children from exploitation, abuse, and inappropriate content is a top priority. This page outlines our policies and procedures regarding child safety.

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

  • We do not tolerate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of child exploitation on our platform.
  • Our app is not intended for children under 13, and we take measures to prevent underage access.
  • Any accounts found violating child safety standards will be immediately reported to the relevant authorities and permanently removed from our platform.

2. Preventative Measures

To ensure a safe environment, we implement the following:

  • Content Moderation: We use automated systems and human moderation to detect and remove inappropriate content.
  • User Reporting Tools: Users can report any concerning content or accounts directly within the app.
  • Account Restrictions: We may impose account bans, restrictions, or suspensions for users violating our policies.
  • Parental Guidance: We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's online activity.

3. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates child safety standards, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:

  • In-App Reporting: You can report concerns in-app by navigating to Settings → Help, as well as by flagging inappropriate content directly within the app.
  • Email Contact: Reach out to us at support@commly.social with details of the concern.
  • Law Enforcement: If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement.

We actively cooperate with child protection agencies and law enforcement to ensure the safety of children.

4. Compliance with Laws & Regulations

We comply with all relevant child safety laws, including but not limited to:

  • The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (if applicable).
  • The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K) for child data protection in the EU.
  • Other international laws and regulations related to child safety.

We report CSAM and child exploitation cases to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or local law enforcement agencies where required.
